I know that most of those who went to school know that there are 4 season in the year...Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.  However I think that one of the seasons needs to be renamed.  It should go Spring, Summer, Football, and Winter.  I was listening to the radio this morning on my way to work and they were talking about the football season opening up this week.  They were discussing that football in the number 1 most anticipated sport opening in the US.  Go figure.  I do know that when the Huskers are playing, the ladies of Valentine go shopping.  The men say "GO SHOPPING!", and the ladies do. I am not sure if the guys know we have a tv in the store and the ladies can shop and watch the game.  We always have the radio turned up listening to the play by play. Don't get me wrong, I am one of the footballs biggest fans!

Labor Day weekend is coming right fast.  I guess that means the end of summer.  It also means Krogman's Horse Sale is here.  There will lots of people in the store and a great time to meet us with old friends.   Next weekend is the Weber Horse sale.  We will willing and able to dress everyone in the western apparel they will want and need to attend both sales. 

We are starting to get some fall and winter apparel and footwear in the store.  Lately we received some Circle S Black Corduroy Sports Coats, the Carter Jeans from Cinch, and a bunch of Tony Lama San Sabo and Justin Bent Rail Boots. 

Back in the day, my mom told me I had to put my white shoes and purse away when Labor Day went by.  She said I had to carry brown or black purses and wear my tennis shoes and enclosed dark colored shoes from Labor Day until Memorial Day.   I am not sure if those rules still apply to the fashion experts or not.  I carry a red one or orange one now so I am not sure if I fall into any of those old rules. So if you need a dark colored purse, stop in and see our selection.  If you don't want to follow the fashion rules, we have a bunch of colored purse also.   I do know that it is still to hot to put my Cruel Girl Jeans and Ariat Boots on everyday.  However, I will say that I might be getting tired of my summer wardrobe.  I guess I need to go out on the floor and find some new jeans and boots.  There is no better place to shop the Young's Western Wear whether you need a new Saturday night outfit or a whole new closet full of clothes and footwear.
